StarLeaf is similar to other messaging programs for organizations. Skype, Zoom, and Teamviewer all offer chat messaging, video calls, and the like. However, StarLeaf manages to stay unique with its solid video-conferencing features and nearly-identical features on all platform versions. You can use this messaging app on any device—be it your personal desktop or your smartphone. It works wherever, so it’s not difficult to message your contacts or join calls while you’re out of the house or the country. 

You get one-to-one and group chats and any notifications will pop up on all devices you have the program on. Online meetings can be set up—you can invite anyone for an unlimited time, whether they’re in your organization or not, and all devices can participate. The same can be done for voice and video calls. There’s no limit to its use, you can easily call with one click, and it can host high-quality video calls for all participants—although this will suffer when you’re on lower bandwidth. 

StarLeaf prioritizes control over to IT managers and administrators, letting them easily organize all users and meetings with a centralized management portal. It also integrates with Outlook and Google Calendar, and works with Skype for Business. It still has a few issues, however—like the lack of a dropped call message and frequent issues with audio—but it’s a great app nonetheless.
